Realness Project is Hiring

Join Our Team

At Realness Project  (RP), we envision a justice system that fosters lasting transformation, healing, and respect for oneself and others. Our mission is to create safer communities, inside and outside of prison walls. The prison experience in America today is harsh, restrictive, and dehumanizing. It trains people to be institutionalized, untrusting and isolated, resulting in a consistent recidivism rate of over 50%.

Realness Project is dedicated to reducing recidivism rates by re-humanizing and transforming the lives of people living behind bars today. Founded in 2018, we’re proud to say that the recidivism rate of our graduates is less than 5%.

How do we do it? By delivering exciting and informative interactive workshops to incarcerated individuals. Our programs inspire, equip, and empower people to build healthy, vibrant communities within prison walls so they can do the same when they re-enter society.

We are a small and mighty team looking for a couple more fun and effective team players who are as passionate about the healing power of human connection as we are. Our culture is one of honoring differences, rolling with the changing demands of this mission with grace, efficiency and a sense of humor.
